Report ghost gear and lost fishing nets
The Ghost Gear Reporter app allows you to easily report lost or abandoned fishing gear to the Global Ghost Gear Initiative (GGGI). While anyone can use the app, it also encourages fishers to report when they either lose gear themselves or find previously lost gear while out fishing.
An estimated 640,000 tonnes of ghost nets are left in our ocean each year.
